Frequently Asked Questions:

Where do the sessions take place?

The session will occur at Lincoln Park in West Seattle. We will be prepared to play in all kinds of weather!

How long are the sessions? And where do we meet?

Individual sessions are offered in a package of 10 sessions that provide your child with weekly 50-minute sessions. At the end of the sessions, we will discuss the child’s progress and the changes you have seen in your daily life, to determine if additional sessions are necessary.

Can parents/caregivers, and siblings participate in the sessions?

During individual sessions, the team is composed of the child, the parent or caregiver, and the therapist. Siblings are welcome to attend if we both agree it benefits our sessions. Parents or caregivers must be present during the entire session.

Where do we meet for the sessions?

We will meet at the trailhead and or parking lot (depending on the park) and hike to our play area, where we will make a plan together for the session.

What is the process to start?

The first step is to book a discovery call to see if we are a good fit for each other. The second step will be to fill out the intake form and apply for the individual sessions.

What is the age range of children to enroll at WildRoot?

AIl school age ranges from 3 years old to middle school, but I am flexible. We can talk more during the discovery call.

How do I pay for these services?

Wild RoOT services are cashed-based and do not accept insurance as payment. To start individual sessions, you will need to have an OT assessment completed within 12 months. I can provide this service if you do not have an OT assessment.
As for the individual services, they can be paid in whole or in 3 installments (billed monthly). Lastly, you can book consultation sessions if you would like more support.
